Charleston waters provide good fishing year round. You can fish back water creeks, flats, bays, ICW, Charleston jetties, the scenic Charleston Harbor and numerous near-shore reefs. Quality Time Outdoors is a family oriented business, having two children of my own I know how rewarding it is to see the smile on a kids face each time he catches a fish. We promote catch and release, but do not have a problem with you keeping your catch. Be sure to bring a cooler to take your fish with you.

Charleston inshore fishing offers some of the most exciting fishing around. Most fishing trips will be in and around the scenic Charleston harbor. Some trips may take us to the intra-coastal waterway, surrounding barrier islands, or backwater creeks. Depending on the time of year, you can expect to catch a wide variety of fish. Big Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Sea Trout, Sheepshead, Tarpon, Bluefish, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Sting Ray, and multiple species of hard fighting Sharks inhabit the Charleston waters. We will discuss experience level and expectations to plan a trip that best suits your needs. From the experienced angler that to the smallest child, Quality Time Outdoors will cater to you.

Nearshore fishing consists of fishing the local artificial reefs and the many live bottom areas. From outside of the Charleston harbor to 20 miles off the coast you can expect to catch Black Sea Bass, Sheepshead, Amberjack, Cobia, Snapper, King Mackerel, and the occasional Grouper. The action is excellent year round and normally non-stop. A minimum 6 hour trip is required.

Spend a day on the water touring the Historic Charleston Harbor or the scenic Cooper and Ashley rivers. We offer many personalized guided trips passing by Fort Sumter, the USS Yorktown, the Charleston Battery/White Point Gardens, and many of the plantations and historic homes that line our rivers. We also offer personalized trips to many of the secluded barrier islands only accessible by boat. You can expect to see porpoises, alligators, pelicans, turtles and nesting ospreys. Be sure to bring your camera to record the sites and wildlife that inhabit our area.
